Kindness 101: Courage

“Courage.” Within this trait, first graders talked about having conviction, being a leader,    having self-confidence, being a change master, taking action, etc. The students were invited to think about one thing to work on to help them be more courageous. The poster shows some of the options:  Some of the discussion was:   President “he needs to work on all of them so he can be a president!” other thoughts were “being objective so I can use my stress ball when I feel frustrated,” “shared my conviction about people not hurting people or animals,” or “use my conviction about how our planet is important by -putting my foot down!”
