In July 2008, Kids 4 Kids will deliver 5,000 backpacks and school supplies to kids who are homeless, abused, living in foster care, migrant camps, and low income housing. You can help by donating your time as a volunteer.

DADE COUNTY
July 28, July 29 & July 30: 9:00 am - noon pm: Students in grades
3-12 and adults are invited to help fill the backpacks with supplies,
and sort them for individual agencies (Jack D. Gordon Elementary
Cafeteria 14600 Country Walk Drive, Miami, FL).July 31 9:00 am noon: High school students are invited to help local agencies load backpacks into their cars as well as finish any last minute packing that needs to be done.
August 2: Delivery to Migrant Camps: Elementary and Middle school students accompanied by an adult, High school students and adults are invited to join the delivery caravan at Jack D. Gordon Elementary at 8:00 a.m. We will load the vehicles and head out to deliver to
two migrant camps. We will travel together from site to site and assist the recipients in making their back to school dreams come true. Deliveries should end around
12:30 p.m., however, you may leave the caravan at any time.
Students can receive community service hours and a verification
letter for attending.
